Louisiana Nationwide Linked 2‑Way Radio Network

The Louisiana Nationwide system is a statewide HAM communications network built for licensed amateur radio operators. Powered by AllStarLink, DVSwitch, and Echolink, the system links multiple nodes across Louisiana and beyond, creating a reliable, wide‑area voice network over both RF and the internet.

This network was created after the shutdown of the original Roadkill GMRS Network, which served GMRS users for many years. With that system retired, Louisiana Nationwide continues the spirit of open access, community support, and dependable communications — now on HAM radio.

Using AllStar 669640, TGIF DMR 28100, and Echolink 514772, operators can connect from anywhere and communicate statewide with clear, stable audio.

System Features

• Full TX/RX linking between hubs and local repeaters
• AllStar, DMR, and Echolink interoperability
• Multiple nationwide nets hosted weekly
• Active users from across the United States
• Wide‑area coverage across Louisiana and neighboring states
• Daily use, emergency support, and community‑driven operation

We sincerely apologize that the GMRS hub is no longer active. After many years of service, it has been fully retired. All former GMRS users are warmly welcomed to join us on HAM radio — the network remains free to use, volunteer‑maintained, and dedicated to reliable communication for all licensed operators.

Join us on the air.
